The Yellow Spotted Hybrids have come from the original Double Yellows. The spotting in the       H x orientalis appears to be quite a dominant gene and once you have spotting it becomes a  challenge to maintain the non spotted hybrids. Spotting varies in intensity but is usually dark red. Quite an attractive plant, they are good ‘doers’ and like all the hybrids, enjoy free drainage.
